Autumn update!

The summer have been lovely and so is the autumn!

At the moment I am preparing new work for The Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair, GNCCF, in Manchester 10-13th October! 

I am very much looking forward to the show, it is my first fair. I am hoping to get some feedback on my work, lots of inspiration, to make new contacts and to meet friends and  participants from The Craft Councils programme "Hothouse" that I was on during 2011.

Performance by Rebecca Bunting 2012

On Thursday 10th there will be a improvised performance by Rebecca Bunting at the GNCCF. Rebecca is a talented dancer that will wear the hats from my collection of "Sound Wear" and interact with the audience. 

The performance is commissioned by GNCCF and will be a part of Vogues Fashion Night Out in Manchester!!Get more information on GNCCFs facebook page.

Superhjälte utställning

Under våren har ca 160 kreativa och duktiga elever i årskurs 1 och 2 i Älvdalens kommun skapat sina egna superhjälte dräkter!! Det har varit otroligt roligt!

Kom och se framtidens snälla superhjältar som är ute på olika slags uppdrag, Vad har de för krafter? Vart bor de? Vad heter de? 

2013

2013 har börjat bra tycker jag, registrerat enskild firma, starta eget bidrag och spännande projekt på gång.

Under våren har jag börjat att arbeta med kreativa skapande projekt för barn inom skapande skola, jättekul, spännande och utmanande. Skapande skola projekt hoppas jag att kunna fortsätta med under hösten!

Just nu jobbar jag med att utveckla en ny kollektion av skulpturella smycken i trä, jag har lagt ut två bilder för nyfikna att kika på, mer kommer snart..

Härliga superhjältar!

 

A litle update from me, its about time... I have moved back to Sweden, ticking of things of my "life plan" that felt very messy one year ago, and now its all starting off! I will registrate my business next week and Im super excited to start working!

Im working on a new website at the moment where you will be able to see more :)

I have been curious about having workshops with children for a while, so I had a little trial with two of my sweet nieces while I was back in Sweden for the summer.  They started of with some of my left over material from "soundwear",  they could make whatever they wanted to, no rules!

They designed and made theese hats (one that has built in headphones), ears and glasses! It was great fun and something I would like to try out a bit more off.
